Performance isolation and differences between types of balls.
How do you know if your M1 polystyrene beads insulate well? Everything depends on the lambda (λ) value, which measures thermal conductivity. In other words, the lower this value, the more effectively your beads block heat or cold. Our M1 beads offer a lambda between 0.028 and 0.031 W/m·K, which guarantees efficient thermal insulation for your walls, attics or floors, while reducing your energy expenses.

New white marbles isolate better (Are M1 FIRE-PROOF) than recycled graphite marbles. They are very easy to spot, they are perfectly round and dust-free.
The recycled graphite black polystyrene insulates poorly and resists little to temperature variations, promoting condensation and mold. Some sellers sell it as new: stay vigilant and choose new beads for reliable insulation.
The recycled graphite balls for insulation contain graphite, have a lower insulation value and are not M1 FIRE-PROOF, they can sometimes pose a fire risk. They are easily recognized by the shape of the ball which is broken or deformed with dust.
